THE PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

MONDAY, 18 January 2010   

The arrival of all participants to Strzeleczki, meeting at the airport and at school.

17:00                The Opening Ceremony:

Ø  a welcome of partner schools and an official meeting with the partners and their parents,

Ø  a formal speech given by the Headmaster and the Mayor,

Ø  a presentation of the region,

Ø  an artistic performance,

Ø  the idea of Secret Friend,

Ø  a little snack.

20:00                Dinner (the students at home, teachers at the hotel restaurant)

TUESDAY, 19 January 2010  

8:00 –  8:30                  Visiting the school.

THE STUDENTS:

8:30 – 9:00                   The integration games.

9:00 – 9:30                   „Europe of Region” – the quiz about partner countries.

9:30 – 10:30                 The lesson of Polish.

10:30 – 11:30                The workshop: dancing polonaise.

THE TEACHERS:

8:30 – 9:00                   Welcome coffee: “this coffee wakes me up…”

9:00 – 12:00                  The Workshops: local activities, the results of the questionnaire “The Authorities”, PowerPoint presentations about well- known Polish people.

ALL PARTICIPANTS:

11:45 - 13:00                 A short walk around Strzeleczki; a visit in The Town Council.

13:15 - 14:15                 Lunch.

14:30 - 16:00                 Visiting the Castle of Moszna: the photo project.

16:00 -  17:30                Visiting the Local Museum in Kujawy: the presentation of local customs and traditions, coffee break.

17:30                           Students home-coming.

20:00                           Dinner for teachers at the restaurant.

WEDNESDAY, 20 January 2010                                                                                                                                                  

The day-long trip to Wrocław. Home-coming about 5 pm.

            19:00                           Dinner for teachers at the restaurant.

THURSDAY, 21 January 2010                                                                                                                                                  

THE STUDENTS:

8:00 -  9:00                   The Wall of Dreams. The workshop.

9:00 - 11:00                  Sports Games.

THE TEACHERS:

8:00 - 9:00                    The Wall of Dreams. The workshop.

9:00 - 9:30                    Coffee break: “this coffee wakes me up…”

9:30 - 12:00                  Workshops: analyzing the final report, discussing the end products.

ALL PARTICIPANTS:

12:15 - 13:15                 Lunch.

14:00 -15:30                  Visiting The Prisoner –of– War Museum in Łambinowice; the History lesson.

17:00 - 22:00                 The Farewell Ceremony:

Ø  the theatrical performance: „Little Prince”,

Ø  the mini-festival of  Christmas Carols,

Ø  the farewell speeches; the certificates of attendance and gifts; the results of the quiz “Europe of Region”, the photo competition and “The Idea of Secret Friend”,

Ø  dinner,

Ø  disco.
