Partnership Agreement
2008-2010"Teenagers in the 21st century: between difficulties and hopes"
This is a formal agreement about what our priorities are for the two-year partnership.The agreement includes the aims of the cooperation among all the partners.
It is firmly believed that European Cooperation on School Education is an important contribution towards ensuring a successful enlargement of the European Union.
Over the years cooperation at European level within education and training has come to play a fundamental role in creating the future European society.
Linked by Comenius partnership, all schools involved wish to support and strengthen the perception of education and lifelong learning as a means of meeting
individual and community needs within an atmosphere of equal opportunity and cultural awareness.
Strategies for lifelong learning and mobility are essential to promote intercultural awareness, active citizenship, social inclusion and personal development.We wish to promote the effective education of young people through the involvement, cooperation and partnership of suitable associations, groups and individuals.
We will promote our partnership between home and school; between itself and other Local Authority departments and community groups.We also will:
- support and encourage students in their educational development;
- promote practice which offers equal access and opportunity, regardless of personal circumstance, and which is anti-discriminatory;
- encourage initiatives which use the skills and expertise to achieve school partnership educational objectives;
- provide support and information to schools and parents which will help them to develop positive attitudes to the partnership;
- monitor and evaluate the effects of common work;
- use National Agency inspectors, advisory teachers and support service staff to continue and extend collaboration between education and other agencies;
- through existing networks and resources, disseminate information about national, regional and local information and initiatives, which introduce,
- develop and extend work in the area of school partnership.
We will seek to raise both the achievement and expectations of education through the development of a positive attitude to partnership.We agree that our schools will aim to achieve the outcome targets described in the application form.
